SkyWatch Friday ~ April Showers

As the saying goes..."April showers brings forth May flowers"....
Two days of rain and it seems that everything has come alive...
buds are ready to burst open,
and some already have
and there is colour everywhere
even the dry brown of the weekend is beginning to green up.
As dusk drew nigh the clouds broke up
as a cold front advances
and promises to drop temperatures and bring s*?*!
For other changing skies from around the world why not join us at
and remember all photos can be clicked on to enlarge.

Lovely blooms foolishly poking up after a rain when snow could still come. Hope it's more than the "false" spring. Sure brought beautiful sunset sky.

Oh how life reafirming it is to witness the spring. It has to be the most wonderful season, with all the antisipation and patience rewarded with all manner of colourful gems.

Hope it doesn't get too cold and NO s***!!!

seems like you are ahead of us when it comes to the progress of spring :)

Hopefully no snow - all that growth is too lovely to have snow piled on it. Although I daresay you would get some good shots from that.

I see the picture of the sidewalk and I immediately have a nasal sensory memory of the smell of wet, warm earth. That's a great shot!
