I love your reflection shot. I often wonder how it was to live in the bush as a homesteader. I know it was difficult to make a living and to live off the land, but it must also have been a rewarding experience. Kind of a double-edged sword. I love living in our cabin but it nothing like homesteading was when transportation was difficult and getting supplies from the city was a difficult affair. Even so, I am grateful to have what I do. What a great shot that first one is with the ripples of the incoming tide. Love it!
The reflections are very pretty. Kind of eerie to poke around old homesteads but kind of fun too. I think it would be fun to check it out!
