Makes a girl want to go back to the island!!! :-)
I can't imagine such cold - I almost expect to see these buildings crack.
Ouch! Just thinking about it freezes my brain. Love the quotes on your side bar.
And I am ever so happy I'm not!
Ouch indeed. My friend lives there and she does say it's cold out there.
Before we discovered Powell River, Wayne and I would take a winter holiday each year to somewhere cold. One New Years we picked Edmonton for the First Night Festival. We landed from the States and cleared customs. When they asked why we were coming to Canada, we answered we came for a vacation. They looked at us like we were crazy to leave warm LA for Edmonton. When we stepped outdoors I remember the breath being sucked out of my lungs by the cold air. Another thing I remember was warnings on the TV for people not to go outside and get drunk. The warning was they might fall in the snow and freeze to death. That would sure spoil a First Night Festival. - Margy
Were you inside, or were you a brave chilly commando grrrl?
And I thought it was cold here in CO! Is that actual temp or windchill? Keep warm. That building actually looks made of ice.
Negative 49! Oh my gosh! I can't imagine that. How did you spend your day? I do hope inside!
Hey Carolyn, great to hear you made it through Regina, hope you enjoyed your visit. And great pics in Edmonton by the way, I heard it was cold up there as well. Safe travels....

beautiful still though cold, got to visit the place one day too.
I heard about this bottomless cold! That's quite a feat, to beat out Winnipeg! I wanted also to mention that I'm taking a break from blogging, but even though I won't be posting, I will keep following here, and dropping by.
I'm cold just thinking about it. The buildings seem to be breathing steam!
