SkyWatch Friday #57 ~ Rain

All photos can be clicked on for more detail
The rains started on Sunday evening, just a little, the type of rain that evaporates as soon as it hits dry ground.
Then we had overcast skies but no rain. Finally yesterday the skies opened and a steady rain fell all day.
By dusk the clouds were clearing and the temperature cooled down.
An evening to give thanks.
The sun is back today and tomorrow and then more rain to quench the earth's thirst.
For more amazing skies from around the world why not join us at

Beautiful photos again Carolyn. :-)

We had a very nice rainy day yesterday... after all that hot dry heat I could always hear the trees sighing with relief.
