Watery Wednesday - Please watch...

Just say no to plastics, all plastics, it begins with you and me. Shop at farmers markets, bring your own bags(not plastic)and send a message to your elected officials. This is the legacy we are leaving our children and grandchildren. For more info on the Great Pacific Garbage Dump
go to: Wikipedia and follow the external links at the bottom of the article.

Plastic is a poisonous mess and will live longer than anything else.

Truly a disgrace to see the trashing of our oceans. Good post to bring this to our attention.

Looks like we wentto the same school, school of thought.

In school, we teach the harmful effects of plastics to the kids, and they can tell you about theplastics and the dead fish and dead birds.
I was kayaking in a man made lake at my bro's place in the Goldcaost, with my nephew. we were going for a swim after. he saw a dead eel, and he said, aunty Ann, I am not swimming,

Then a few days later, Isaw a "plastic fish. It was the remains of one off these helium balloons.
