SkyWatch Friday ~ All in a days travel

(Click on any of these photos to enlarge and view detail.)
Dawn over the Hecate Strait at Tlell yesterday morning.
New snow on Sleeping Beauty Mountain in Queen Charlotte at lunch time.
The Creator's Glory over Queen Charlotte Harbour late afternoon.
And then this weird squall blew in just after we got back to Tlell in the afternoon. The colouration of the light was nothing I have ever seen before, looked almost like a sandstorm.

To view more great skies from around the world visit
SkyWatch Friday.

The last photo looks like a mini-tornado. Interesting light, for sure.
I love the name Sleeping Beauty mountain every time you mention it.
Beautiful scenes!

Very strange and wonderful cloud fomations from the squall. Where I live it would remind us of a tornado. Thanks for sharing!

Fun to look at the Sleep Beauty and try to see her. That squall is amazing! That sure would have caught my attention.
