SkyWatch Friday

It seems of late that our daytime skies have been grey and heavy
and then as dusk arrives the skies clear to expose a beautiful evening sky.

For more beautiful skies from around the world why not join us at

Brooding is how I’d describe that sky, Carolyn. I like the shadowy evening grasses and the lacey branches on the tree seem to be saying it's time for leaves. :)

The first sky does look brooding. I love the second one at dusk.

Makes me feel a little small.

All in the name of better weather to come! Shame it is dark skies in the day. All good shots but the second I like best.

You got some really great shots for the day! And we've had lots of brooding skies as well here in Seattle! It is wonderful when they suddenly lighten up a bit!! I find that I'm inclined to "lighten up" a bit myself. Hope you have some sun for the weekend!!

I love how the sky clears at dusk...it's the same here, most days. We get those long shadows from the trees and it really feels as if Spring will arrive very soon. I'm crossing my fingers..
