SkyWatch Friday ~ Round 4

One of the prettiest trips on Haida Gwaii, outside of kayaking in Gwaii Haanas National Park Haida Heritage Reserve is the drive up the east coast of Graham Island between Queen Charlotte and Tlell. The road hugs the ocean and because the tides and sky and weather are different every time you travel it you...I never get tired of it. It is where sea, sky and sand connect. Every vista offers up a surprise

For other beautiful skies from around the world why not join us at

Looks a good place to drive and a better place to stop and look a while

So nice to live by a place and see the many sky moods. All excellent.

What beautiful views. You must have returned home relaxed and content after that trip.

Looks like paradise. I can hardly believe how close the road is to the ocean.

Thanks for the tour. I wasn't aware of the islands so your post gave me an opportunity to do a little research Thank you

It would likely take me forever to get up that road, with all the stopping for photo ops!

Hello friend - We are in town so Wayne can listen to a football game that is only being offered via the Internet. We came down the lake in quite a rain, but this afternoon is clearing so we might have a better trip back up to the cabin. Plus the wind has died down some - that's more important that a little water. Your shot along the road reminds me of one stretch of beach here in Powell River called Myrtle Rocks. The rest of the coast is mostly hugged by homes and you can't get an unobstructed view. Have a nice holiday weekend. - Margy

Life has been busy here lately and I've missed getting to your blog. Now that I'm here and reading backwards from the top, it's a real feast.
