It is dry in southern Ontario and especially in Prince Edward County.
PEC is an island sticking out into Lake Ontario and its weather is strongly influenced by the lake and winds.
So even though it looks like it is going to storm the weather often passes us by.
Not so yesterday, we finally recieved some of the rain the land needed.
But more is needed.
To see other great skies from around the world why not join us at
and have a great weekend!

What beautiful skies and clouds! And I love the sand dunes! Marvelous captures, Carolyn! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Enjoy!
What a beautiful place. Glad you got some rain. Have a good weekend.
Looks like a wonderful place to walk!!! Can you walk the dogs on the beach there?I would so like to walk them in the sand, beside the water, and PEC is only a couple of hours away from Ottawa...
I love the shot of all the dogtooths - i had not thought of using that angle, and showing the masses of them! (trout lilies - but I learned them as dogtooth violets, even though trout lilies sounds more cool!)
Oh great photos. My family used to camp at the Sandbanks every summer when I was a kid. It is a hard place to get into now. Too popular with the beautiful beaches. Valerie
superb photos! the last photo is my favorite--what a beautiful place.
The clouds almost seem to reflect the sand dunes. Hope you get more rain.
