SkyWatchFriday on Haida Gwaii

Click on any photo for some remarkable detail.
I consider it a privledge to be up early enough to watch the sunrise and on this particular morning you could actually see the mainland coast of British Columbia(100km away) from my meditation spot.

Clouds don't always need to be ominous!
 And then the day begins.
My morning meditation bench.
During the afternoon this beautiful cloud formation moved in.
This kind of cloud formation is ususally the precurser of change
but it seems the change was for the good
as a subtle sunset introduced the last full moon of summer!
For other beautiful skies from around the world why not join us at
SkyWatch Friday.

You live in the most amazing place. It would be hard for me to meditate there though. I would be so busy looking at all of the wonderful sights. - Margy

What a beautiful clear view at sunrise! The photos are awesome. Your island home is just amazing. I know you'll have a great time showing it to your grandson when he gets old enough.

Oh, what awesome skies! So glad you're back...I've missed you and your photos and your stories.

What a handsome grandson! He's really getting big. I know you must miss him and your family, but the beautiful landscape must make up for it some. I'm so homesick for the sea...your photos help so much! xx
