SkyWatch Friday ~ And the clouds arrive

The clouds finally arrived after 17 days of sunshine, however no rain! This is the float plane dock at low tide. It is also the fuel dock for small craft. (click on the photo to get perspective of size and see the number of craft at this dock!)

The same dock at high tide.

The clouds encircling Sleeping Beauty Mountain west of town.

For more beautiful skies from around the world why not join us at SkyWatch Friday.

I've only just got back to your blog after a busy time and see I've got a lot to catch up on. You maybe regret the clouds returning, but the cloud-wreathed mountain is beautiful.

Beautiful clouds. Fortunately our clouds on Monday brought us a little rain. Our forests are getting a bit crispy. - Margy

Lovely photos! 17 days of sunshine, wow, I would love to be able to say the same thing, but we're better at getting 17 days of rain *sigh*. Next time it happens I'll come enjoy your skies instead! LOL

The high/low tide comparison shots are always interesting. Too bacd the clouds came back, but they did a nice job of ringing the mountain.

The color of the sky in your first picture is truly beautiful – when the photo is enlarged, it looks so cool (even though it may have been warm that day). Here we gets so many clear blue skies with no clouds – they are not very interesting to photograph, and it is so warm – almost 100 degrees F today (almost 38 C).

The clouds encircling the mountain was quite ethereal and surreal scene. Excellent!
