Reluctantly I left Ottawa to visit friends(reluctant 'cause I was leaving my new grandson and family behind) in Prince Edward County and enjoy more beautiful walks in Sandbanks Provincial Park.
Even though the water levels are low this year the dunes are in fine form
and we are not the only ones leaving tracks in the sand.
A year ago today I was leaving Prince Edward County for home on the west coast.
and spring was a good two to four weeks behind this year.
With little snow and lots of wind this winter the dunes have definitely been on the move,
plus there have been some amazing blow outs.
The hike is worth the fresh air, blue skies and the views.
For other beautiful skies why not join us at SkyWatch Friday and remember you can click on all the pictures to enlarge and for more detail.
Happy Earth Day ~ It takes each one of us doing our part.

i love the textures in the sand. wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Every single one of your images is wonderful. I must say the first one remains my fave.
I thoroughly enjoyed this walk on the beach courtesy of you today.
All of these are great, close up and distant shots, together they tell the story of the place.
Thanks for stopping by to see my sky.
Oh gosh you have gone and made me all homesick for the dunes and salty breezes of the north Atlantic with your beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing with Sky Watch Friday.
If you had to leave, this looks like a good place to go next. We are having some nice weather this week and the weatherman hasn't taken back the good forecast for next week (yet). - Margy
Mmm, I could just take a deep breath of that ozone-filled air! All that sand-walking will give your legs a good work-out.
Oh, and beautiful skies, of course!
Really nice pictures
I love the sand shots. Thank you for visiting My Muskoka !
