Maybe the rooms would be too tiny to stay in for a long time, but I usually only go to a room to sleep.

You asked a question about the salt water trapped in Powell Lake. The salinity doesn't start until about 400 feet below the surface and in some places the lake is over 1000 feet deep. It doesn't affect the surface or creatures, but the depths are sterile with no oxygen. There are only a few fjord cut-off lakes in the world. Another one I know about is in Norway. That makes sense. Their topography is much like BC. - MargyPowell River Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580698518291129041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35949290.post-25318691202485962072009-12-29T14:00:08.370-05:002009-12-29T14:00:08.370-05:00Great photos and wonderful buildingsGreat photos and wonderful buildingsFrostbite and Sunburnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03117969670714999548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35949290.post-12951323493367076012009-12-29T12:45:57.347-05:002009-12-29T12:45:57.347-05:00Love the contrast between the old and current phot...Love the contrast between the old and current photos.
