I have seen some of the old stumps, big enough to hold several people like a natural dance floor. A whole forest of those must have been quite a sight. - MargyPowell River Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580698518291129041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35949290.post-78972530005966189932010-08-12T13:00:45.672-04:002010-08-12T13:00:45.672-04:00majestic beauties, glorious to be around, listen t...majestic beauties, glorious to be around, listen to, sit with, thank you. I miss them ferociously...when I lived on Vancouver Island we had a California Redwood Tree on our property. It had been planted years and years ago and was quite a landmark...a huge, old Tree that survived against all odds.

And so many times, I've walked through Cathedral Grove on the Island and marvelled at the giants. I've always wanted to visit Haida Gwaii just to take a long walk through the ancient, wise Trees. Thank you for taking me on a 'photo walk'!

To me, there is nothing that can beat that wonderful rain forest!Marionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00607220451457829777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35949290.post-58215298983001489872010-08-11T07:13:30.947-04:002010-08-11T07:13:30.947-04:00I enjoyed the walk through the woods with you.
